to catch you up on things, we are all moved into the new house (YAY!)

Thats my mom and I jumping with excitement! I feel like a cruddy daughter though...i haven't been helping with the moving as much as i should've! but the house looks great, thanks to most of the work by my brother and dad.
Sidenote....my younger brother, as some of ya'll may already know, swore into the marines this past week, which scares me to death. He is only 17.. a few people have told me that is the scariest branch to join, so that doesn't help ease my reservations... He could use prayer and my family too! we're all a little taken back still, i feel like it hasn't set in yet and it won't until he leaves....
Which brings me to my older brother, he just left for Colorado, but when he comes back, i'll be in lubbock already and then he leaves for Dubai, so we had to say goodbye this morning. He came in and woke me up really early, i was really teary after he left, its so weird to think that its not just another short adventure for him...this is it...he graduated. he's moving. across the world...
and this is probably not blog appropriate (im still trying to figure out what is...) but i am so excited/nervous/scared/giddy about new years eve! all you girlies of mine know why, but for the newbies, the boy i have been dating flies in on new years eve....meets the family...meets the friends....and is here for 2 days. This is a LOT of pressure and is scary! this is a first for me, i've had my parents meet boyfriends from tech before, but its when they are up there. so this is a lot different, he'll be here....so hope all goes well with that :) :) anddddd....for those of you that meet him, pretend you didn't read this when you do! hehe
well, hopefully the next time i write isn't as long! glad im home, i've missed all of you soooooo much!
